Helping 70-Year Old Sr. Shumaila
Shumaila Bibi is a 70 years old widow who sells fruit for a living. She lost both her sons in a road accident a year ago.
After the death of her sons, she had no source of income and also had to take care of her grandson. She could no bear to see her grandchildren to go hungry, so she decided to start selling fruits on the roadside.
The fruit she sells hardly earns her 5 to 8 Dollars a day. It’s truly amazing to see a lady her age doing selling fruit all day and then going back home to take care of her grandchildren.
Sr. Shumaila has requested us to set up a shop for her near her house so she has a stable income source. We require the following donations for her:
- Shelves: USD 65 (Rs. 10,000)
- Fruits: USD 65 (Rs. 10,000)
- Cash (personal use): USD 65 (Rs. 10,000)
