Helping a sister in need
Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah (SWT) we have also started working in Dera Ghazi Khan, a place where many people are living a life far below the poverty line. They have no proper houses or water available for them.
In this video we are showing a house that belongs to sister Miskeen. She is a widow and mother of two. Due to extreme poverty she has no skill or source of income. On a daily basis she takes her neighbours’ animals for grazing, a job that makes she her earn 50 to 100 rupees a day. This amount is ahrdly enough to buy food. Sister Miskeen has to travel almost 4 kilometres to get water from a well.
She can increase her income with sheep farming. She is in extreme need of help.
She needs the following donation:
- Water hand pump : USD 85 (Rs. 13,000)
- Two sheep for income: USD 90 (Rs. 14,000)
- Food and clothes: USD 65 (Rs. 10,000)
- Cash : USD 65 (Rs. 10,000)
Total donation: USD 315 (Rs. 47,000)
Zakat is also applicable.
